Childrens workshop-summer camp

Posted in News / by: Donna Senft

July 2nd, through the 6th, 9:30 till 3:00 there will be a summer camp for interested students. We will be working on a large water-color painting. This is something that we cannot do during the year of classes because of the time constraint. There will be choices available for subject matter. I will be showing loose washes, verigated washes, and dealing with negative spaces, harmony and balance. Throughout the week, the art of focus will present itself. This is going to be comprehensive but fun to see it evolve. Everyones project will be different. Students will bring their supplies each day as well as a brown bag lunch. Sustenence is important. There will be some surprises and treats to help everyone get through the learning curve. This experience is likened to taking a full year of art. When students get through summer camp they grow a whole bunch and feel so good about themselves. A perfect start to the summer…hopefull a launch into working on their own with more confidnce. Cost for the week is $175.00. To register, please call me, email me or enquire after class. Looking for twelve students for this class. If there is enough interest, a few more could work. d.

Over the years, I have matted and framed my own art. I am able to cut glass, matts and order a variety of custom frames to put a designers touch on any piece of art. I can advise you of different techniques and ways of dealing with petite point, hockey jerseys, photography or shadowboxing golf clubs, medals or other paraphernalia. No job is too small.
